Component value
Select the Component value to be configured as the e-mail address recipient(s) of the webform submissions.
NOTE: The form component must have been configured on the form components settings before it can be selected as an e-mail recipient.
E-mail to address
On the Edit e-mail settings page, the form component selected for the Component value field on the previous step will be pre-filled in the Component field. Form submissions will be e-mailed to this address. Any email, select, or hidden form element may be selected as the recipient address.
E-mail header details
E-mail subject
Configure the e-mail subject for the form submission e-mails. Choose from:
- Default: This option uses "Form submission from: [Webform Page Title]" as the e-mail subject text.
- Custom: This option uses the text input in the Custom field.
- Component: Any textfield, select, or hidden form element may be selected as the subject for e-mails.
E-mail from address
Configure the sender's e-mail address for the form submission e-mails. Choose from:
- Default: This option uses the site's default email address, usually noreply@appstate.edu, as the sender's e-mail address.
- Custom: This option uses the e-mail address input in the Custom field.
- Component: Any email, select, or hidden form element may be selected as the sender's e-mail address.
E-mail from name
Configure the sender's name for the form submission e-mails. Choose from:
- Default: This option uses the site's title as the sender's name.
- Custom: This option uses the text input in the Custom field.
- Component: Any textfield, select, or hidden form element may be selected as the sender's name for e-mails.
E-mail template
An e-mail template can customize the display of e-mails.
Default template
The Default template includes the following data:
- Submitted date
- Submitted username
- Submitted values
- Submission link
Custom template
Change the content in the template text area to customize the information sent in the form submission e-mail. You may use special tokens in this field that will be replaced with dynamic values.
Included e-mail values
The selected components will be included in the %email_values token. Individual values may still be printed if explicitly specified as a %email[key] in the template.
Save
Click the Save e-mail settings button to finish adding this e-mail configuration to the webform.
