The contact form facilitates communication via e-mail, by providing a simple way to direct messages to a set of recipients. Users specify a subject, write their message, and (optionally) have a copy of their message sent to their own e-mail address.
The contact page provides a simple form for visitors to leave comments, feedback, or other requests. Messages are routed by selecting a category from a list of options; each category has its own set of e-mail recipients. The actual e-mail addresses defined within a category are not displayed.
From the admin menu, select Structure - Contact Form. The current contact form categories are displayed.
NOTE: It is important to use the contact form on a website, in addition to email addresses/links, to provide a user-friendly method for emailing site contacts. The contact form allows webmail users to e-mail site contacts in one easy step.
